JPMorgan Chase on Wednesday announced its investment, which will involve working in partnership with Zora’s House, the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio and the Columbus College of Art & Design to create and fund an “equity design institute.”

The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio is proud to be a funding recipient for Goldman Sachs’ One Million Black Women initiative.

Twelve organizations nationwide, including The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, will receive strategic funding from this initiative.

Goldman Sachs has announced the initial grants, capital investments, and philanthropic grants for its One Million Black Women Initiative, including a grant to The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio to support the Enduring Progress Initiative.

“Listening to women of color and their lived experiences, and educating oneself about the topics of race and sex” are the responsiblity of every individual, said Kelley Griesmer, President & CEO of The Women’s Fund.

Zora’s House is the inaugural recipient of funds from the Enduring Progress Initiative, The Women’s Fund’s bold new effort focused on breaking down systemic barriers to funding for women of color.

Through a new initiative focused on investing bigger dollars into organizations led by and for women of color, The Women’s Fund is addressing the systemic funding gap specifically faced by women of color.
